WNYC, PRPD and PMJA invite public radio journalists, content makers, editors and their collaborators to join us for a special webinar on working with whistleblowers. WNYC’s Matt Katz will interview Dana Gold from the Government Accountability Project in a conversation brought to you from WNYC’s Greene Space on December 12, at 12 noon Eastern. The conversation and subsequent Q&A will be streamed on Zoom as a webinar.

The Government Accountability Project is a leading whistleblower advocacy organization, promoting government and corporate accountability by both protecting whistleblowers and ensuring their disclosures make a difference. In her role as Senior Counsel and Director of Education, Ms. Gold not only represents whistleblowers (she is currently representing three Department of Homeland Security whistleblowers who have raised concerns about systemic risk of harm to children and adult migrants in detention), but also focuses more broadly on educating key stakeholders about whistleblowing and the essential role whistleblowers play in promoting accountability and a functional democracy.

Ms. Gold will offer some key insights about working with whistleblowers, and afterwards, participants will have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A. Space is limited. We look forward to “seeing” you on December 12, at 12noon Eastern.
