From the Washington Post: House Oversight & Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Ca) and Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) charged that the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) may have exceeded its authority and broken whistleblower protection laws by monitoring the computer activities of several FDA employees who were concerned about medical device safety. This finding is the result of a two-year investigation after media reports revealed the controversial surveillance activities.
