Communications & Research Associate
Gabrielle Simeck works with the communications team at Government Accountability Project, writing press releases, blogs, and other outward-facing content. She also helps craft digital storytelling narratives to amplify whistleblower disclosures and assists with various research and programmatic needs. She began her work at Government Accountability Project in 2018 as a Communications Fellow and Intern Coordinator during her year of service with the Lutheran Volunteer Corps.
Gabrielle graduated summa cum laude from St. Olaf College in 2018 with degrees in Political Science and French and is a Phi Beta Kappa member. While at St. Olaf, she studied international relations and non-violent resistance and conducted comparative research on whistleblowers. She is interested in the intersection of human rights and international law as well as whistleblowing as a form of non-violent resistance. As a French major, Gabrielle studied in Paris and Rennes, France. She continued her international studies at the University of Oslo as a 2017 Peace Scholar.
