Government Accountability Project Condemns Attacks Against DHS Whistleblower

WASHINGTON – Earlier today, President Trump’s campaign lawyer, Joe diGenova, said that a Department of Homeland Security whistleblower “Should be drawn and quartered. Taken out at dawn and shot.” The whistleblower, Christopher Krebs, headed the Department’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and was recently fired by President Trump after correcting voter fraud disinformation.

Government Accountability Project condemns the President’s attorney for threatening a whistleblower.

Louis Clark, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Government Accountability Project, remarked:

“Threats like these trigger an avalanche of them. They terrorize other whistleblowers into silence. It’s behavior befitting a mob attorney.”
