Today – Tuesday, September 9 – the House Oversight Government Reform Committee’s Federal Workforce, US Postal Service and Census Subcommittee will hold the hearing: “Examining the Administration’s Treatment of Whistleblowers.” It will explore whistleblower retaliation in the federal government since passage of the Whistleblower Protection Enhancement Act.

GAP Legal Director Tom Devine will be testifying, along with GAP clients Robert MacLean (Federal Air Marshal whistleblower), whose case is going to be heard before the Supreme Court, and Dr. Robert Van Boven (Department of Veterans Affairs whistleblower). Leadership at the Office of Special Counsel and Merit Systems Protection Board will also be testifying.

The hearing will be held at 2:00 pm ET in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
