NPR: Russia Gives Edward Snowden 3-Year Residence Permit

National Security Agency whistleblower and GAP client Edward Snowden has been granted a three-year residence permit in Russia, according to the whistleblower’s Moscow-based attorney. Snowden’s new arrangement reportedly allows him to travel freely within the country and travel abroad for no longer than three months.
