Other Ways to Donate

Donating to the Government Accountability Project is not only easy, but there are several ways you can do it. Cash flow, tax implications, employer matching funds—your generous gift can be structured in a way that takes these considerations and more in mind. On behalf of truthtellers everywhere, please know that we are grateful for your support.

Methods of Giving

  • Donate Online: Donations to Government Accountability Project are confidential and secure. As part of the Network for Good, a non-profit alliance of companies dedicated to assisting public interest organizations, Government Accountability Project accepts donations made via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and electronic checks. You may also give anonymously, if you wish. Government Accountability Project encourages you to consider becoming a recurring donor by committing to a regular debit to your card on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. More details on making a tax-deductible gift to Government Accountability Project.

You charitable contribution can be made by check, credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or even a gift of cash through the mail. For questions about individual giving, please contact James Harden at (202) 457-0034 ext. 123.

  • Corporate Matching Gifts: Many companies will match employee donations made to non-profits with 501(c)(3) status. If your company has a matching program, you can double the impact of your gift to Government Accountability Project. If you would like your gift to be matched, ask the Human Resources office if your company offers a matching program. If they do, simply request a matching gift form and enclose a completed copy with your donation.
