Whistleblower Organizations Host Premiere Screening of iHeart’s The Whistleblowers, Celebrate Publication of Blowback by Miles Taylor

Premiere screening and book launch event will include a newsmaker panel and access to leading advocates from Whistleblower Aid and the Government Accountability Project

WASHINGTON, D.C. – iHeartPodcasts series “The Whistleblowers: Inside the Trump Administration,” will be launching alongside Blowback: A Warning to Save Democracy from the Next Trump, the new book by Miles Taylor, best-selling author and former Trump administration official who authored the anonymous NYT op-ed. The event will feature a screening of the podcast followed by a newsmaker panel discussion and reception. The evening is being co-hosted by and donations will benefit Whistleblower Aid and the Government Accountability Project.

The newsmaker panel will be moderated by Miles Taylor and will feature Grant Turner, CFO of US Agency for Global Media and a whistleblower, Stephanie Grisham, fmr. White House press secretary and author of I’ll Take Your Questions Now, and Denver Riggleman, fmr. Rep of Virginia 5th congressional district. They will explore and contextualize the impact of whistleblowing over the past six years and are expected to break some news. 

The event is a chance for members of the press to engage directly with those who have been and continue to be on the frontlines of whistleblowing in Washington D.C. and pull-aside or separately scheduled interviews with principals are available on request. Space is limited and RSVPs will be accepted until capacity is reached.
