Stephani is responsible for representing clients across industries in the agency tribunals at the Department of Labor, Department of Energy, and Merit Systems Protection Board. She also represents clients in state and federal jury and bench trials and appellate courts across the United States.

Stephani graduated cum laude from Harvard University with a degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University School of Law. She joined Government Accountability Project as a Litigation Attorney in 2002 where she represented whistleblowers in the nuclear and oil industries and federal government employees. In 2005, Stephani Ayers and Government Accountability Project’s Litigation Director at the time, Thad Guyer, founded the firm of T.M. Guyer and Ayers & Friends, PC. Ayers expanded her practice in 2005 to include whistleblowers in the airline, food, pharmaceutical, and financial industries.
